Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is wide. There are differences between moto-haba and saki-haba. Saki-zori attached. Ô-kissaku form.
Nakago : Ubu. Saki is kuri-jiri. Yasurimes are katte-sagari. One hole.
Jigane : Itame-hada with some changes. Mokumes mixed. More or less forging patterns shown obvious on hada. Jinie attached. Chikei appeared. Pale utsuri appeared.
Hamon : Chû-suguha tone. Ko-gunomes mixed. Ko-ashis and yôs appeared. Nioi-kuchi tends to be clear. Ko-nie attached. Sunagashis appeared. Yu-bashiris and tobiyakis appeared.
Boushi : It runs is midare-komi. Goes to far with tsukiage, then turns. Saki shows haki-kake pattern.

[ Highlight ]
As swordsmith name Kiyomitsu, there were several numbers and generations at Bizen Osafune in Muromachi period (e.g. 孫右衞門尉、五郎左衛門尉、与三左衞門尉、彦兵衛、孫兵衞, etc.) A swordsmith group name "五郎左衛門尉清光" was big enough to support Yamana family to fight against Akamatsu in Bunmei "文明" 15.

Kiyomitsu family was good at creating sugu-ha swords same as Tadamitsu. This sword has time signature Eiroku 11 "永禄十一 年". Thick at its hira-niku, very dynamic in its form are so characteristic. Mokume mixed itame-hada, family tradition style temperedsugu-ha. Nioikuchi is clear. Ashis and yôs appeared frequently. In tempered area "ha", there are a lot of changes. This swords shows the tone of Sengoku period with a style.

[ Conditions ] The blade has some thin scratches. On shinogi-ji, there are a few small rust. Koshirae shows very healthy conditions. Currently, there are papers which past owner given the name of sword. But it is possible to detach clearly.
