[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. High shinogi-suji and hi sori attached. Chu-kissaki extended form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are o-suji-kai. Saki is shallow kuri-jiri. Three holes.
Jigane : Itame-hada. Some changes mixed. Rich jinie attached. Chikei appeared well.
Hamon : Sugu-ha. Ko-gunome shape blade mixed. Ko-nie attached well. Nioi-kuchi is distinctive and so clear.
Boushi : It turns in o-maru shape. Saki shows strong hakikake shape.

[ Highlight ] The Tegaki school was a group that lived in front of the Tegai-mon gate, the western front of Todai-ji Temple, and was founded by Ho'ei in the late Kamakura period around the time of Sho'o, after which the school flourished through the Nanbokucho period and into the Muromachi period. This sword has a lovely small shinogi-zukuri figure, with an exquisite and tasteful forged surface and a bright and brilliant scent(nioi-kuchi), and is regarded as a masterpiece of the Tegaki school of swordsmiths. Kanetoshi was a student of Kaneyuki, a swordsmith of the Tegaki school around Eitoku (1381-1384).

[ Conditions ] There is light rust. It does not appear as white and prominent to the naked eye as in the images, but can be removed cleanly by polishing.
