[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri, iroi-mune. Mihaba is wide. Kasane is thin. High shonogi and shallow sori attached. O-kissaki-form.
Nakago : O-suri-age. Yasurimes are kiri. Saki is kiri. Three holes.
Jigane : Itame-hada. Masa pattern and mokumes mixed. Jinie attached. Chikei and more or less, shirake-utsuri appeared.
Hamon : Suguha-tone, ko-gunomes mixed.
Boushi : It shows notare pattern. Saki has haki-kake form with yaki-tsume state.

[ Highlight ] From the Nanbokucho to the Muromachi period, there were works of the Hokke Ichi-jo school, which is thought to be a branch of the Mihara school or Kokubunji Sukekuni. It is characterised by its straight blade style with a Yamato temperament and Jigane forging with a masa grain pattern on itame grain. This work has a wide body and thin thickness, with a high degree of ridging. Itame grain skin with masa and moku (wood grain) is slightly sticky and has a white temperament with a white reflection. The blade is straight with a small alternating pattern and a small nie, with kinsuji and sunagashi, and the boushi is also a magnificent piece of work.

[ Conditions ] There is a forging flaw on the back, 1.5 cm to 3 cm below the yokote. Old polishing, but excellent. The kuri-gata shape has been removed and repainted, but the paintwork appears to be of an older age. The shira-saya has been renewed in recent years.
